Short and sweet
The Tiemco 784 fly hook is a short-shank, wide gap hook for a variety of applications. Originally designed for use with a tube fly or as a stinger hook, the Tiemco 784 also makes a great saltwater fly hook for patterns that require a short shank such as the Polar Fiber Minnow. The shorter the shank, the less leverage the fish has, so the 784 is a tough little hook. The wide gap with a 45 degree point offers better hooking ability.
