Mason Hard Type Nylon lives up to its reputation as being some of the stiffest mono leader material out there. This Mason leader material has many applications ranging from constructing specialty leaders to fly tying.

We use 20 lb. Mason Hard Type Nylon for all standard weed guards on our flies. Mason Hard also makes good tail guards to prevent fouling on flies tied with rabbit strips.
