The stiff barbs make for a buggy collar for flies such a wooly buggers or tie them in as long-tails. Flat wing fly patterns need this material to give that long flowy movement required. This Hackle ranges from around 12″ long and comes in a multitude of colors. This material makes for great tarpon fly tails.
